High-Precision Unison Feed Mechanism

Juki LG-158 Lockstitch Machine features a unison-feed mechanism that ensures smooth material feeding. It maintains consistent stitch quality, even on multi-layered and heavy materials. The walking foot and presser foot move in synchronization, preventing fabric slippage and uneven stitches. The feed mechanism provides precise control and reduces material distortion during sewing. This makes the machine ideal for industrial applications, including upholstery, bags, leather, and heavy fabrics.

The machine head structure is designed to improve operability

With its 750 mm wide space under the arm and a handwheel mounted at the middle of the arm, the machine is ideal for the sewing of heavy materials such as tents and sheets. The machine sews large materials while keeping them spread over the bed. A bobbin winder is installed on the front face of the arm for easy operation. The presser foot goes up as high as 21.5 mm to ensure easy placement/removal of extra heavy-weight materials.

Safety device protects the needle and hook from damage

If the thread gets caught in the hook, the safety device automatically activates to prevent hook damage. Pressing the reset button immediately restores the machine to normal operation, ensuring safe and efficient sewing performance

Consistent seam quality

With its unison feed mechanism that ensures a smooth and steady feed of materials, the machine provides consistent seam quality with no material slippage. LG-158 supports eleven different needle gauges.

The machine reduces the frequency of bobbin thread replacement. It incorporates a vertical-axis large hook to further improve sewing efficiency.
