IoT-Based Sewing Performance Management
The Juki LBH-1790AN Shorter Thread Function manages sewing performance through IoT technology. Operators manage, browse, and edit sewing data using dedicated application software. The system transfers sewing adjustment data to an Android tablet wirelessly. This allows quick verification of uniform settings across the sewing line. Operators confirm machine conditions easily and perform faster setup changes. The operation panel includes a USB port as standard. Users manage data and update software quickly using a USB thumb drive.
Digital Data Control for Stable Quality
The system numerically manages sewing data to ensure stable quality and faster setup changes. Operators extract quantified sewing data using an Android tablet or USB drive. The JUKI Smart APP works best with Android OS version 6.0 or later. Users should contact their local JUKI distributor for application support and setup guidance.
High-Speed Sewing for Higher Productivity
The machine achieves a maximum sewing speed of 4,200 stitches per minute. It reaches a jump speed of 200 mm per second. These speeds significantly reduce cycle time during continuous production. Operators complete more work efficiently without sacrificing stitch quality.
Cycle Sewing and Continuous Sewing Capability
Operators register up to twenty programs for cycle sewing. Each program stores up to thirty different patterns. The machine also supports continuous sewing without lifting the work clamp foot. Operators register up to twenty programs with six patterns each. Optional parts enable this continuous sewing function.
Fully Electronic Drive Control System
The machine electronically controls all drive mechanisms. These include material feed, needle feed, thread trimming, cloth trimming, and presser lifter operations. The system digitalizes all adjustment values. Operators set and store parameters directly on the operation panel for consistent results.
Operator-Friendly Working Environment
The direct-drive motor reduces operating noise during sewing. Adjustable LED lighting illuminates the needle area clearly from beneath the arm jaw. JUKI provides this lighting as standard on all LBH-1790AN models. The auxiliary table supports easy product placement. The centered needle entry ensures accurate positioning.
Advanced Pedal and Lifter Functions
The machine features a newly developed stepping-motor-driven auto-lifter. This reduces operator fatigue during long shifts. Operators switch between one-pedal and two-pedal modes easily. The pedal allows intermediate stops for precise product positioning. The work clamp foot lift adjusts freely up to 17 mm using reverse-rotation needle-up control.
Electronic Thread Tension Control System
JUKI’s active tension system controls needle thread tension electronically. Operators adjust tension separately for parallel and bartacking sections. The system stores settings based on fabric type, thread, and sewing speed. The machine switches tension automatically to produce clean buttonholes and prevent thread breakage.
Basting Stitch for Superior Buttonholes
The basting stitch mechanism improves buttonhole quality on elastic materials. The system tucks needle thread securely into seams. Threads never protrude from the buttonhole. Operators apply up to nine rounds of basting stitches for clean finishes.
Multiple Knife-Dropping Mechanism
The machine eliminates manual knife replacement when changing buttonhole sizes. The system automatically sets knife-dropping frequency based on size. The double-acting stepping motor ensures precise knife movement. Standard knives support 41 mm lengths. Optional knives support 70 mm and 120 mm lengths.
Easy Sewing Setting Adjustments
Operators switch easily between purl and whip stitches. The system simplifies bobbin threading and tension adjustments. Double stitching skips bartacking while sewing parallel sections twice. This prevents excessive tightening. Operators assign different widths for first and second stitching rounds.
Oil-Free Sewing for Clean Garments
The advanced dry-head system prevents oil stains on garments. Only the hook section requires lubrication. Operators convert the machine to full dry-head operation using an optional hook. This setup supports sewing speeds up to 3,300 stitches per minute.
Simple Hook Oil Quantity Adjustment
Operators adjust hook oil quantity using the built-in adjustment screw. The hook lid provides easy access. Users refill oil quickly using a standard oiler for smooth operation.
